The Gachatha factory is operated by the 900 smallholder farmers that make up the Gachatha Farmers Cooperative Society in the Nyeri region. It sits in a densely populated area in Karundu, which requires them to have strict environmental regulations when it comes to their wastewater. This coffee is a blend of SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru 11 and is grown at 1800-2200masl, giving it a high sparkling acidity and intense rich sweetness.
